Hope is on the way

Support, warmth, and connection are just a few clicks away. During a time where social distancing and isolation is necessary, increased connection is key.

Studies have shown that loneliness is just as lethal as smoking 15 cigarettes per day. Isolation reduces your immunity and can leave you vulnerable to illness and inflammation of the body. Researchers have found that loneliness is a killer and can be as hard on your system as alcoholism and over-eating.

Staying Connected during difficult times

I don’t want people to feel as if they have to compromise their mental health for their physical health; therefore, I am providing virtual counseling for anyone who resides in the state of California. Although teletherapy may seem intimidating or foreign, receiving support via a virtual platform can be a positive and worthwhile experience.

Even as chaos reigns, connection continues. This is an unprecedented time, but together, we will get you through these challenging days. I am here to help you manage symptoms of stress, depression, and anxiety- to help you cope with the fear of the unknown. I am also here to walk alongside you as you navigate transition and work through relational issues.

Virtual Counseling- Your Medicine During an Isolating Time

  • So why telehealth or virtual counseling?

Support and contact (virtual or in-person) is important because people who lack social support, tend to have more emotional challenges than those who are connected. Stress has a much more significant impact on individuals who are lonely. Support is essential and connection is a need- like oxygen, food, and water.

  • Individual counseling, couples therapy, relationship counseling, and family therapy are all possible through virtual counseling. If you reside in the state of California, telehealth (video-chat and conferencing) can be a worthwhile and rewarding endeavor.

“We must recognize that we are more than “homo sapiens’. We are ‘homo vinculum’ -the one who bonds with others. And these bonds are what will save us. They always have.”
